International work culture


The facilitator of the session was Mr. Jayamuthumagesh, Senior Manager, GHCL Ltd. The activity started by listing out the factors to be considered for the work culture as communication, body language, dressing sense etc. The players stressed that MNC and IT companies give ratings for the employees on their work performance and so the workers are punctual and dedicated. They do  added, children will be independent and parents will never take care of their child’s life. Students of the team said that in countries like Japan and China they kept their own culture. But in India, we have different language, so we don’t have choice or option. We Indian must speak only in English. Finally, the session came to the conclusion that, learning is so importance to every individual as they work in different organization in different countries, while follow different rules and regulations. So learning helps to adopt to their concerned work culture. 


 Entrepreneurship culture in Tamil nadu


The main thought that was exhibited was that people in Tamilnadu are independent people, who mostly wish to stand on their own feet and hence the number of entrepreneurs are comparatively higher that the other states. The people of Tamilnadu are said to have adaptive and risk – taking skills which are considered to be the predominant qualities of a vibrant entrepreneur. The students also mentioned about various training programmes that were available in Tamilnadu. They specified about the core aspects that are needed for a successful entrepreneur. The session became more interactive and informative through the live examples stated by the learning executives. The key emphasis was also laid on the reasons of failure for small entrepreneurs. The facilitator of the event Mr. Jayakumar patiently listened to the forum and also added his points. He stated that gender discrimination is not considered as a big factor when it comes to the field of entrepreneurship The session was concluded by him by reasoning out the measures to be taken by the small entrepreneurs to become successful.

Part Time Jobs taken up by professional students 


The discussion was initiated stating that both men and women prefer part time jobs. The learning professionals emphasized that women lack family support and society environment. The students of the team reflected that part time job helps in building up of career and application of theoretical knowledge in practice. The team members stressed that part time job should be selected based on individual’s potential talents.
Finally the session was concluded stating that it results in stress and poor time management among the professional course students yet suits for those who are in real need of financial assistance. 

Made In China – Threats to India

The discussion started with the concept of population in India & China. The learning professionals emphasized that “Holi are ours but the colors are Chinese, Diwali are ours, But the crackers are Chinese, what happened to our India”. The players of the team reflected that Chinese products are imported to India but quality is low and the quantity is high. The discussion went around the problems faced by Chinese people on communication, labour & knowledge. It was stressed that China is the socialistic country, and India is the democratic country. The team members strongly emphasized that China has strong support from their government, but Indian government do not support industrial growth. Indians lead peaceful life compared to Chinese.
Finally the event was summed up stating the trade agreement signed by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi with China.

Technology in India- Prospects & Problems


Students shared their thoughts on the pros and cons of using technology in cultural and global aspects. Some of them highlighted Digital India, Make in India schemes introduced by honorable PM. Mr. Naendra Modi that could improve economic growth of the country, increase global competition and reduce employment. Though technology has its own positives, it has some limitations like Brain drain, gap between literates and illiterates, cyber crime, mental pressure, electricity radiation etc. Students even mentioned the resources available in India that could make them develop faster. Use of Social Media, eco friendly organization, R & D development in aerospace and help of other technologies in county’s growth were other points stressed in the discussion.
The discussion emphasized that browsing centers in remote areas, smart cities could be a push up factor and less salary, ego, corruption , lack of encouragement are some of the hindrance in development of the country.
The colloquium was concluded with facts supporting both pros and cons of technological usage. 

Economic Independence of Women


The session was started by the players of the team stating that gender equality to be enhanced across the Globe and also they suggested women are to be ensured with economic independence. Members of the team stressed that, as women have excelled in educational reforms, they give more value to the society”. They also added that women are dominated by men and so they are unable to avail the policies introduced by Indian Government for their financial independence. The participants emphasized that women should learn values through education to acquire freedom. Finally The event was concluded by the team members saying that women must be empowered, which is very musch essential for her independence in all aspects.

Corporate Culture


The players of the team reflected that elements, vision, mission, values, rules & regulation, team work which altogether forms corporate culture. Students further added subordinates’ view to be considered while taking decisions thus leading to increase in employee morale and productivity. Students of the team stressed over the welfare of the employees to be taken care by the organization. They also added freshers must spend time on their career development, for which attitude matters. Players of the team were emphasising that MNC’s should allow more number of holidays for hindu festivals rather than Christmas holidays. Students also listed the expectations from the corporate which include respect, peaceful life, sticking on to their own culture, holistic stress out life. Finally the discussion was concluded that the individual must balance their work life and they must have self determination.


Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam’s Vision 2020

The participants spoke on Phrases emphasized by our former President that could change India, such as  Rural-Urban Migration, Vision 2020, importance towards making Science interesting, upliftment of rural India PURA. The Players of the discussion shared their thoughts on his personality. The students emphasized on unity and diversity which was ignited by the former president. Finally, the session came to the conclusion that young Indians should think positively and have the courage.  Family members of Politicians should not be there in the politics. Even they are in politics, they should have the mentality to serve for the society and develop India.
